At some point the bottom was removed and reskinned leaving the old keel. Also you can see where the rudder hole has been plugged. The boat had a major water leak around the rudder port. This is why when we install a new bottom all the framing, keel and chines are replaced.

Routed out the bad wood so we glue new wood in place.
At some point two rudder holes were drilled with the one toward starboard plugged.
